First Festival returned to the Fiera Del Mare, the spacious summer stage [70 x 120 meters] at one of Italy’s most prestigious techno events, ranking among the top six in national importance.
Following previous sold-out events featuring renowned artists like Nina Kraviz, Charlotte de Witte, and Richie Hawtin, the festival presented by RST Events treated the audience to a seamless ten-hour musical experience. The lineup included top international DJs such as Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, CamelPhat (Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala), Mathame (Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli), and Fel (Giovanni Galvani and Alessio Lerma).
An essential element of the First Festival since 2013 has been the Outline sound system, expertly installed by Show Technologies™ from Recco – Genoa. Acknowledged by professionals and appreciated by both the audience and artists, the Outline system is known for delivering exceptional audio quality, enhancing the overall musical enjoyment.
Alessandro Orlando, representing RST Events and a prominent figure in organising major events in Genoa over the past decade, shared his thoughts:

The audio setup at Fiera Del Mare featured 24 GTO modules + 2 GTO-DF (main), 20 Mantas (front-fill), six Mantas (private area), and 28 DBS 18-2 subwoofers, configured in an ‘end-fire’ array. The entire system was powered by Outline amplifiers and the design process utilised the sophisticated Open Array 3D acoustic modeling software, also developed by Outline.
