Rentman rental software are presenting a new solution for the digital management of warehouse inventories, through the use of QR codes. In Frankfurt, we had the chance to try the new smartphone app with the new laser-scanning handheld units, available for the Android operating system.
The new app includes a series of inventory management tools that help users manage the various phases of rentals by scanning the codes of products. The low cost of the system makes it accessible even for small rental companies.
The app connects, in real time, with all the data contained on the main Rentman platform. This allows for the digital booking of equipment, the registration of several articles at the same time and can even suggests alternative products if the originally desired product is unavailable. The system also allows for the printing of the scanned article’s documents, the possibility to register a repair and view the repair history via QR-code and, of course, to check the availability of materials in a warehouse.
The app can be used by multiple users simultaneously, with the system updating in real time. The hardware for scanning is available in both WiFi and 4G versions.
