This year is the first time that NEC are presenting at Prolight + Sound, on a booth featuring their offerings to the rental market.
Let’s start with the PX series, with two models that differ in their native resolution – 4K for the PX1005QL and 1920 x 1200 for the PX1004UL. The PX1005QX is equipped with HDSDI on-board connection and both are equipped with a single DLP chip. The ultra-short throw NP39ML 0.38:1 optic is also common to all of these single-chip projectors.
With regards to their displays, NEC will be refreshing their line of 65″ displays before the end of the year, with improvements to their brightness and increased resolution.
