NOVA, a division of CRAAFT Audio GmbH, is here at PL+S 2018 with a range of products, including their new PARIZ Line Array and M318SUB Active Subwoofer.
PARIZ was developed as a complete system concept, which combines the ease of use via remote control interfaces and perfectly constructed rigging with maximum performance and sonic clarity. It is designed to work flexibly for most sound reinforcement applications, from basic setups for conferences up to world format live shows, even in the most acoustically challenging environments.
The P9 module, a fundamental part of the Pariz system, consists of two 8″ neodymium transducers and a high-precision 1.4″ compression driver dedicated to high frequencies. This features a waveguide with 90°x12° dispersion. Both 8″ transducers are equipped with a special UPM (Ultra Precision Membrane) carbon membrane, which elevates the oscillation of the particles to an inaccessible frequency range, reducing distortion. Completing the feature-set is a total power of 500W (RMS) from each 8″transducer, a frequency response of 700 Hz – 1,100 Hz and an adjustment system that allows the user to change the inclination of each module from 0° to 12° with a 1.5° step. P9 is ideal for amplification in stadiums, theatres, clubs, festivals, corporate events and places of worship.
Next we have the NOVA M318SUB, a high-performance 18″ subwoofer, which includes everything, that rentals, bands and installers might need. The on-board amplifier module offers a power of 2 x 800 W (RMS) + 1 x 2,500 W (RMS). The high-end 32-bit DSP engine can be controlled by a coloured touchscreen display as well as by NOVA’s PPA remote software. The M318SUB is loaded with one long excursion 18” neodymium transducer, utilising a NCR (Neck Coupling Reinforcement) membrane for a power capability of 1,600 W (RMS). The extended controlled displacement (29 mm Xmax) sets new limits from a mechanical point of view. The M318SUB is tuned extremely deep down to a frequency of 34 Hz for impressively musical low frequency reproduction.
