DPA Microphones are exhibiting here at NAMM, presenting the d:vote 4099 microphone and their new CORE system. DPA is also this year’s sponsor of the Grand Plaza Main Stage, for which they provided 24 d:facto, 46 d:vote, 32 d:dicate 2011C and 10 d:dicate 4018 that will be used by the 35 bands that will perform during the fair.
Core is a new type of amplification system that DPA uses in the new models of lavalier and headset microphones, born from the need for an extended frequency response, minimised distortion and expanded dynamic range from its microphones. CORE is available on the d:screet 4060, d:screet 4061, d:fine 4066 and d:fine 4088 models, on which the system has obtained very respectable results (+14 dB at a THD of 1%).
d:vote 4099 is a clamp-style musical instrument microphone that offers a recording solution with a high degree of isolation, with a natural and transparent sound quality. The clamp mount allows for unobtrusive mounting on a wide range of surfaces and instruments, capturing the best possible localised sound.
