NAMM 2018 – Proel

Proel NAMM 2018Let’s start the roundup of news from the 2018 NAMM Show with Proel and its two brands Axiom and Sagitter.

As far as audio products are concerned, we have a novelty for the US market with the AX12C passive full-range column. This is a cardioid system, fitted with twelve 3.5” neodymium transducers, characterised by giving the ability to offer precise control over directivity in order to eliminate problems of refraction. The unit is able to express a balanced sound even when heard from the side or back. It is an expandable system, expandable up to 4 columns, which when combined with the 21″ SW2100A sub, become active thanks to the class D extension included within the sub.

Secondly, we have AX6C. This is a world preview of the device, which will be officially launched during ISE 2018 in Amsterdam. This is also a portable column system, with 6 3.5″ transducers, capable of expressing 180W of continuous power. The unit features a waveguide designed for wide horizontal dispersion. All of this is enclosed in a modern and elegant design, which is also ideal for installations.

On the lighting side, Sagitter introduces the Quariux LED bar, equipped with six 40W RGBW LEDs, and a zoom system which ranges from 12 °- 90 °. Impressively, the unit weighs in at only 3.9kg. Completing the feature set is a Wireless DMX signal receiving module, a touch system display and a single cable for the transmission of DMX signal and power supply.
