PL&S 2017 – ETC

ETC exhibits in Frankfurt some improvements regarding the console sector and presents the new rigging system Prodigy P2.

Coloursource AV, presented as a prototype a year ago, is a compact console that allows you to control LED projectors with the ability to integrate multimedia elements such as slides of photos and audio signals. Inside there is a web browser that allows an access point wi-fi to control your console remotely via any smartphone or tablet without using app.

The console is available in two versions, 20 and 40, that differ in the number of faders and equipment. It is ideal for theater companies that use virtual sets and generally for small locations, schools and more.

Another innovation is the console Gio @5, with eos software. It is equipped with 5 motorized faders with page exchange possibilities, can handle up to 64 universes, and has an integrated 17” touch screen in addition to offering the possibility of connecting two external multi touch. It is a console that substantially retains the characteristics of its larger siblings Gio and Eos TI but it’s more compact.

Prodigy P2 is simple to install, it is equipped with a compression tube which facilitates the design phase, in addition to a reduced maintenance. With this model ETC offers a product that does not require customization, as often it is the case for similar products designed specifically for certain locations.
