On the Clear-Com booth, we took the opportunity to take a look at the company’s latest communication and connectivity solutions.
LQ Series is a communication device, designed to bridge together a variety of different device formats, such as 2-Wire, 4-Wire, and GPIO Devices over IP. For an engineer entering a venue with no information on the type of intercom system in place, the LQ series offers the possibility to link in systems such as Clear-Com’s Eclipse HX matrix. The unit operates with a browser-based configuration and management interface, and is available in 2, 4 or 8 port devices.
Also from Clear-Com, we have the FreeSpeak II. This unit has been tested rigorously in large-scale sporting events, to provide fibre connectivity and exceptional wireless coverage. System elements can be connected up to 20,000 metres away from the base station, and FreeSpeak II can operate over both 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz frequencies.
