The APIA Professional Audio brand is relatively new to the audio sector and so the best time to officially introduce itself was, of course, PL+S 2015. And on show at the company’s large stand, we had the chance to see for ourselves the most recent products.
We spoke to Leonardo Dani and Saverio Wongher, who informed us about the intentions and history of this young company, but part of an important group – already present in the entertainment sector – with headquarters in Turkey.
Right now, the goal of APIA Audio is mainly focussed on the installation market, with top products CIWI, as series of passive column speakers with sub included and CIMI. CIWI Line12 has 12 3’’ neodymium speakers and is able to change, by means of an immediate switch, vertical range from 7° to 30° according to its use.
CIMI is also a column speaker, but with16 2” speakers with the same variable pattern methodology.
Both products are weather-proof and can be in many different colours and finishings, thanks to the production line that is able to manufacture each part and accessory entirely in-house. Once again we are looking forward to a listening test – welcome APIA!
