AKG at PL+S with Three New Microphones and Headphones

Let’s start with the new condenser microphone C314, positioned midway between the C214 and the C414. This is a multi-polar microphone with four polar diagrams that can be selected, with an overload LED and the possibility of carrying out frequency cuts.

The D5 C, in two versions – C and CS – is a useful and dynamic microphone for different applications, with a polar diagram that makes it extremely versatile. D5 C (CS) is able to support pressure levels of up to 160 dB and has an internal dual shock system. Moreover, it also has the same mechanical, electric and acoustic features of the D5, with an additional on/off switch.

The new D112 MkII incorporated the features of the previous model, with the addition of a new assembly system that increases its flexibility, while maintaining the sound quality of its predecessor, now a standard of the sector. D112 MkII can manage more than 160 dB SPL without distortion. The large diaphragm has a very low resonance frequency that provides a solid and powerful return below 100 Hz.

With regards to the headphones, AKG introduced K181 DJ, lighter than the previous model and therefore more comfortable, with improved articulation and a bass-boost selector making them ideal for DJs.
