At NAMM 2015, AKG presents the DMS800 system

Stephan Scherthan product manager at AKG, gave us presentation of the DMS800, which has inherited the features of the DMS700 model, along with some innovations such as the addition of two digital audio outputs for DANTE and AES/EBU, and with a considerably improved DHT800 with regards to mechanical parts and design, as well as being equipped with interchangeable capsules.

The system has two balanced XLRs and two unbalanced jack connectors, as well as audio digital wireless transmission with low-cut filter, three-band equalizer, dbx compressor and dbx limiter. DMS800 enables operators to choose between a variety of dynamic vocal or condensor microphones, including D5 WL1, D7 WL1 and C5 WL1.

DMS800 is able to manage up to 40 channels at the same time. Remote control and monitoring can be carried out by PC using HiQnet Audio Architect software, Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod or Soundcraft Vi series console.
