QSC has announced the appointment of the Peter E. Schmitt Company as its manufacturer’s representative for the Metro New York region.
Peter E. Schmitt is one of the oldest and most respected independent rep firms in the United States, with its roots dating back nearly 90 years, QSC says.

Founded in 1926 by F. Edwin Schmitt, the company’s first line was Sangamo capacitors – now known as Cornell Dubilier – which served as the as the cornerstone for its OEM division and is a line that it still represents today. The firm’s first foray into professional audio products came in 1931 with the addition of Shure Brothers and over the years has grown to represent a wide variety of professional audio, lighting and video manufacturers.
