Audio-Technica mourns the passing of legendary producer, engineer and composer Phil Ramone on March 30, 2013. A longtime friend of the company, Ramone, a fourteen-time GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Technical GRAMMY Award recipient, has been involved with A-T since 1991, when he offered invaluable advice on studio microphone design.

There is a deafening silence today in the music industry, as we have lost one of our key voices. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.”
