K-array for Victoria’s Secret press reception

L&M Sound & Light provided the full sound, video, and lighting design and production services for the recent Victoria’s Secret press reception held at The St. Regis Hotel in New York for the launch of their new "Bombshell" perfume. Event designer David Beahm produced and styled the event.


 
In the St. Regis’ Versailles Room: Two 60" plasmas, two 50" plasmas, an acrylic podium (artfully branded by David Beahm Design), clean white lighting fixtures highlighting all key elements and the stage, white K-array KR100 speakers amplifying the people speaking and the video presentation, up lighting of the window and plasma scenic masking facades via l.e.d. wash fixtures masked with white light covers – all event carpeting, decor, scene, sound, lighting and video production installed and set up, tech’d and rehearsed from midnight to 8:30 a.m. to be ready for the 9:30 a.m. morning presentation.The St. Regis Hotel’s 2nd floor Louis XVI foyer served as the point of entry for guests into the event.


When not enjoying the ambiance and atmosphere of the design and contemporary lushness of the event, the three "Bombshells"- Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel – performed their mandatory duties as an additional visual focus point.
