Now shipping, the UDP-89 is an industrial strength, 1U rack-mounting device
that can play almost any CD or DVD based AV file format, including CD,
DVD-V, DVD-A and SACD. Its comprehensive video connectivity includes
component, s-video and digital HDMI, plus RGB and composite outputs.
As might be expected from an HHB product, the UDP-89 audio feature-set is
equally well catered for, with balanced and unbalanced stereo and 5.1
surround sound outputs, AES/EBU and S/PDIF outputs for digital audio, and
both Dolby® Digital and DTS encoded bitstreams.
The inclusion of a multichannel audio preamplifier with level control
enables direct connection to powered speaker systems, and the UDP-89 is the
ideal reference player for viewing suites or for programme previewing.
