Aero Systems at Six Flags Great Adventure

Jimmy Ferrante at Stirling Audio Services has been doing more than just riding the roller coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey this summer. Stirling Audio has been providing production services including an Aero 28 Line Array system for the theme park’s concert series held at their Northern Star Arena.

This summer concert series has included: Lifehouse, Lee Ann Womack, Taking Back, Angels & Airwaves, Head Automatica and The Subways, Reggaeton Fest featuring Zion & Lennox, Wisin y Yandel, Lonestar, Gospel Jamboree with CeCe Winans, Kurt Carr, Fred Hammond and Israel Houghton & New Breed, Hannity Freedom Concert with Lee Greenwood, Hank Williams Jr and Sara Evans, Blues Traveler, Foreigner and The Beach Boys…just to name a few.

On National Kids Day the concert series featured Hollywood Records recording artist Raven (Raven Symone). Besides hearing her on the radio you might have seen Raven on the Disney Channels “That so Raven” or on “The Cosby Show” or in movies like “Cheetah Girls” and “Dr. Doolittle”.

“The Northern Star Arena has always been a bit of a challenge venue to cover because of it having no pick points to fly systems as well as needing about 180 degrees of coverage” Jimmy comments……. “And of course the promoters don’t want the audio system to block the audiences view of the performers on stage as well. Being able to ground stack the Aero 28 system along with it’s 120 degree coverage allows to make best of an almost impossible situation.”
