Ultrasone AG, the German manufacturer of a range of headphones incorporating unique S-Logic(tm) Natural Surround Sound and innovative ultra-low EMF emission technology, has appointed EARS Audio Distribution as its distributor for North America. EARS Audio Distribution LLC is a newly formed company co-founded by Linda Albright, sole proprietor of Franklin, TN-based EARS Audio, a professional audio sales and rental company established in April 1984.
Ultrasone AG and EARS Audio Distribution LLC will be at Booth #843–in the
Audio Underground neighborhood–at the 115th AES Convention (Jacob K. Javits
Center, New York, October 10-13, 2003).
EARS Audio Distribution will represent Ultrasone’s high-quality headphone
products in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Albright and John Ripley,
Director of Retail Marketing and Sales, bring more than 40 years combined
sales experience to the task of introducing Ultrasone’s surround sound
headphones to the North American marketplace.
Albright has enjoyed a 20-year career in professional audio sales,
representing equipment manufacturers to recording, broadcast, and music
industry clients nationwide. With over 20 years in music retail sales
beginning with ACE Music in Miami, Ripley additionally has in excess of 30
years experience in music recording and production. During his recording
career, Ripley, an accomplished pianist and Hammond B3 player, has worked
with such legendary producers as Jimmy Johnson in Muscle Shoals, AL and the
late Tom Dowd in Miami.
Based near Munich, Germany, Ultrasone AG has been manufacturing headphones
for the professional audio market for over 12 years, during which time the
company has developed and applied for more than 60 patents for its
innovative technology. The company’s unique, patented S-Logic(tm) technology
creates natural surround sound without the use of additional electronic
