New Stagetec Staff For 2003

Slough based lighting and sound sales specialists Stagetec has two new team members onboard – Rob Whitaker (Project Manager) and Ken Poole (Sales and Marketing Manager).

The new appointments are due to a dramatic increase in already-confirmed sales and installation projects for 2003.

Whitaker, an experienced Project Manager in the pro sound and lighting industry, has recently been co-ordinating the installation of a wide range of systems into theatres and pubs for the Bourne Leisure Group. He also has extensive and valuable ‘hands on’ experience as a sound and lighting technician in venues nationwide. He’ll be working within Stagetec’s existing projects team, where in addition to managing projects, he will be assisting in the production of designs and proposals for new ventures.

Poole has a wealth of over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and customer care. This will be invaluable for the proactive communication of Stagetec’s vast array of products and services to a wider market. He will also be providing practical support for the sales and technical staff.

Poole’s music industry experience – as both a musician and a sound and lighting technician – includes involvement in the staging of hundreds of shows and events, plus loudspeaker design and construction. He thus has a great basic understanding of the needs of technicians, performers and audiences alike. His sound business disciplines will also help Stagetec’s ongoing commercial development, ensuring the company continues to offer the best, most cost-effective, turnkey solutions to clients with a variety of budgets and requirements.
