Outline are presenting their newest offering to the line array market here at Prolight + Sound 2018, with the introduction of Superfly.
Superfly follows on the from company’s unique butterfly design, providing a compact line-source enclosure weighing in at under 38kg per module. The fixture has been designed to integrate with existing Outline products, and is powered by their own DSP-equipped X8 amplifiers. Visitors to the show can listen to Superfly firsthand in the PL+S Live Sound Arena.
As well as Superfly, we have the Newton, Outline’s FPGA-based processing platform. Designed to sit at the core of audio networks for touring, broadcast and fixed installation applications, Newton manages sophisticated audio systems by combining multi-format channel routing with simultaneous standards conversion and digital signal synchronisation. Newton is now available in three models – Newton 16, Newton 16+4 and Newton 16+8 – each designed to suit the requirements of different project types. Newton’s I/O configuration will provide up to 216 channels in both directions simultaneously using a fully automatic clock source and audio signal switchover facilities
